I am Steve Lei from Rongchang District in Southwest China’s Chongqing. In the spring of 2005, filled with dreams for the future, I boarded a southbound train to Huizhou, Guangdong. Through a friend’s introduction, I entered my first factory, which marked the beginning of my deep connection with the mobile phone and tablet case industry. It was also here that I met Mr. Xu, a mentor and benefactor who played a pivotal role in shaping my career and life.

Under Mr. Xu’s guidance and trust, I gradually grew from an entry-level employee to one of the core members of the company. Driven by my belief in the industry and a strong sense of belonging to the team, I have never switched factories or left the industry over the years. I have personally witnessed the rise of the protective case industry from its early days to its booming success. I’ve been both a participant and a witness to its growth.

In 2015, as the market environment changed, Mr. Xu decided to separate and transfer the factory’s plastics division. Thanks to the solid foundation I had built over the past ten years, I was fortunate enough to seize this rare opportunity and officially began my entrepreneurial journey in the injection-molded protective case field.

The challenges of entrepreneurship were far beyond my expectations. The journey has been akin to a constant leveling-up process, full of obstacles. Starting with just a production department of around 30 people, we have now grown into a 380-person OEM and ODM manufacturing enterprise.
